M. David Kamrat
Chief Executive Officer
David Kamrat founded Qualmax, Inc. in partnership with his son, Noah Kamrat. Prior to starting Qualmax, Mr. Kamrat worked as a sales executive with MCI, where he was the respected winner of numerous awards and significantly contributed to exceeding South Florida’s record-breaking revenue goals throughout the 1990’s. Prior to working with MCI, Mr. Kamrat had a successful career in construction and land development. Under Mr. Kamrat's leadership, Qualmax has become a thriving VoIP powerhouse specializing in IP origination, softswitch provisioning, network design and implementation and Tier 1 connectivity.
Noah Kamrat
President
Noah Kamrat joined forces with his father David Kamrat to found Qualmax. As president of the company, Mr. Kamrat has led Qualmax in explosive growth as a world-class VoIP solutions provider. Prior to co-founding the company, Mr. Kamrat was Director of National Accounts for Frontier. Mr. Kamrat previously held the role of sales consultant specializing in long distance and Internet services for MCI. In his tenure at MCI, Mr. Kamrat was the honored recipient of several prestigious sales awards.
Edward (Ted) Moffly
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Moffly joined Qualmax as its interim Chief Financial Officer in October 2005, and was elected to the board of directors in November, 2005. Ted has worked as an entrepreneur and executive in various industries, from construction and energy to finance and telecom. Mr. Moffly has been the CEO of Spin Networks, a Florida Corporation, since it's founding in 2001. From 1994 to 2000, Mr. Moffly was the CFO of Tiltwall, Inc., a facilities-based contractor for technology build-outs, whose customers included MCI, Kodak and Detroit Diesel. Ted was also the CEO of Synergyx, an IP integration company that designed, built and managed IP networks in over 50 countries, from 2000 to 2001. Ted attended Columbia University and received an MBA from the University of Chicago in 1997.
Duy Tran
Executive Vice President
Duy Tran is Qualmax’s Executive Vice President heading up the Carrier Services division. Mr. Tran joined Qualmax in February of 2005. Prior to joining Qualmax, Duy was CEO of Microstar Corporation. Mr. Tran founded Ypsilon Computer Handels GmbH & Co., in 1994, as a dedicated reseller of high-powered personal computers in the German market. Duy speaks German, French and Vietnamese fluently.
Brad Guillory
CTO
Mr. Guillory joined Qualmax as its Chief Technology Officer in February, 2005. During the past ten years, Mr. Guillory has worked as a high level IT engineering security specialist at Reuters, SEA-IS and Bailey Link. Brad has experience in a range of disciplines, including VoIP, network design, open source systems, and network security. Mr. Guillory has done extensive work on security environments for policy development review and compliance across a number of enterprise industries. Brad received his BS in Physics from the University of New Orleans.
Ian Richardson
Corporate Counsel
Ian Richardson is joining Qualmax as in-house general counsel and Vice President, effective May, 2006. Mr. Richardson has acted as Qualmax’s primary corporate counsel since 2003, and has worked closely with the company and its securities counsel, Kramer Levin Naftalis and Frankel, LLP, throughout Qualmax’s recent mergers and acquisitions. Prior to joining Qualmax, Mr. Richardson was a partner with the Eugene, Oregon based firm of Gleaves Swearingen Potter & Scott, LLP, and since 1997 has maintained a growing business law practice serving the corporate, tax, intellectual property and commercial law needs of information technology companies in Oregon. Mr. Richardson received a BA from UC Berkeley and JD from Northwestern School of Law at Lewis and Clark College.
